The event put on by the Virgin Islands National Park is growing every year in popularity! There are multiple competitions at this event separated by short, intermediate and long distances; male & female groups; and solo or assisted swims. What's most important is that everyone is safe and everyone enjoys the open waters of St. John! The winner of the Men's long course competition was Rex Tullius of St. John who finished at a blazing 1 hr 12 min and 43 seconds. It was an international event this year as there were competetors from 6 different countries and 29 states. They ranged from Washington D.C and locals from St. John to Italy, France, Puerto Rico, Italy, Australia and the UK.
